How long should I keep my 2003

it has 230,000 miles, other than replacing the catalytic converter there are no problems. are there signs I should watch for? (other than the obvious, like when it no longer moves.)

Keep your car as long as repairing it is cheaper than a new monthly car payment.

Your odometer will freeze at 299,999 miles so watch your mileage carefully past that number for inspection/emissions testing. Watch your CV boots on the drive shafts, they will eventually tear if they did not already, then the grease flies out and gets contaminated with water and dirt. Keeping up with fluid changes such as oil, tranny fluid, PS fluid, bleed the brakes, and coolant change.
