A bed mat is all you really need. It will keep stuff from sliding around like crazy. The composite beds hold up pretty well!

Yep, get the Toyota bed mat. It's worth the money.
If you want to avoid serious rock chipping on the truck's lower sides, you may want to get the Toyota step tubes too.

Me three on the bed mat.
Check out the Maint. ... thread in the first section of the home page, there are lots of DIY mods listed. Look through those for ideas.

Me four on the bed mat! It's one heavy duty bed mat that's worth every penny!

I noticed a few links to Dee Zee bed mats, but none of them state specific fit for my 2010 Tacoma DC Short Bed. Anyone have one that fit without having to trim/modify besides the Toyota one? I thought about ordering a OEM one but the online dealers wanted REDICULOUS shipping charges for it and my local dealer wants $105 for it. Also, if not Dee Zee, any other brand recommendations that fit and don't require mods? Thanks!

Lucky for me the mat that I got with my 1988 Mitsudodge Ram-50 was a perfect fit.

I also recommend the OEM Tacoma bed mat. I've had it for 4 years and it's tough as nails. Worth every penny.

Like a Rolls-Royce, the quality will remain long after the price is forgotten.
My OEM mat still looks like new after 5+ years, though to be honest, it lives under a tonneau cover.

Toyota has a 25% sale on Saturday only. Also, if you go to a site like trdparts4u.com, you can find the mat for less than $90. Take a copy of the pricing from the website to your dealer, and they may sell it for the lower price. That's what I did and I got mine for about $82 and didn't have to pay shipping.
